"The YELL-Oh Girls! Workshop series offers a gathering place for Asian American/Pacific Islander women identified students to think, feel, see, and create from the inside out. We devote so much of our lives trying to meet expectations, criteria, and rules at home, in the classroom, in society at large. One way for our community to combat silence and erasure - to be seen and heard - is through art and self-expression. This can happen when we honor our creative process." -- Dr. Vickie Nam, PhD.
