IGNITE combines the strongest elements of past extended orientation efforts—including AA/PIRC’s Bridge to Success—into one dynamic, inclusive experience designed to support your transition to college life.
Through IGNITE, incoming frosh and transfer students connect with each other at fun social events, interactive workshops, and engaging activities. You’ll explore campus resources, meet your Student Success & Equity team—including staff from the Asian American/Pacific Islander Resource Center (AA/PIRC)—and begin building your UCSC community from day one.
