Mission
The Asian American/Pacific Islander Resource Center (AA/PIRC) co-creates engagement with students who identify as part of the Asian American, Pacific Islander, & Southwest Asian & North African (AA/PI/SWANA) diaspora at UC Santa Cruz; exploring the complexities of their holistic experiences, and individual and collective identities. AA/PIRC’s engagement includes leadership and holistic development, along with educational opportunities with, for, and in support of AA/PI/SWANA communities.

Resources
AA/PIRC offers several amazing resources, including opportunities for awards and scholarships, course offerings that explore A/PI/SWANA history and culture, retention programs for incoming students, and more.

Events
AA/PIRC hosts a series of events each year that engage with different topics and issues affecting the AA/PI and SWANA communities. These events range from mixers, small workshops, to large-scale events such as comedy shows.
